Requirements for Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment

Requirements for Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (RTTE) are confirmed by the TRA type approval certificate (TRA CoC) and regulated by Federal Law by Decree No. 3 of 2003 – the Telecom Law.

All the Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment have to be registered with the TRA before it can be used, sold or distributed in the UAE.
